Mary Walchuck Mary Walchuck, Nature and Wildlife Photographer: My journey into the world of photography started May of 2019 with my desire to capture all the beauty around me where I live in Green. Thankfully, the City of Green offers so much in the way of parks, ponds, lakes and of course all the glorious nature around us. My husband and I have always enjoyed Southgate / Boettler Parks and Nimisila Reservoir. So, I bought a great camera and it opened up a whole new world of beauty for me. Every detail of nature such as a flower, butterfly, bird, tree and sunset became a work of art. Photography for me will always be a great way to keep learning, keep active and keep giving back. When I see with my eyes the wonders and exquisiteness of Nature, I realize that photography is a driving force, a true passion and desire to capture a beautiful moment in time and present it to others. .
